As an undergraduate student at Seattle University going into my junior year, my internship at Beneficial State Bank has given me a new perspective on business.
With my focus on finance and economics, banking has always been a sector I could see myself working in. During my eight week internship at Beneficial State Bank, I worked as the Digital Associate intern at the Seattle branch. My role was to research social media metrics, perform a competitive analysis of the market, cultivate customer profiles and compile an 18-month calendar showing how my work will be implemented.
What makes an internship at Beneficial State Bank so unique is the company culture and vision. In my time here, I became immersed in my role, learning more about marketing and social media that I would from college lectures. I was able to interact with many local businesses, talking about their vision and impact on their communities. Being a part of a small, community bank also provided me with the opportunity to meet executives of the company and have one-on-one conversations.
If you are looking for an internship experience that is unique, mission-oriented and highly impactful, this is the right one for you.
