Anne has been finding ways for people and organizations to create lasting value in our communities and restore the environment since 2003. She has held a range of positions in the private, nonprofit, and higher education sectors, including sustainable business consulting, program management, and fundraising.
Prior to joining Beneficial State Foundation, Anne advised leading mission-driven organizations on their corporate social responsibility strategies and helped launch the next generation of environmental leaders at the University of Washington. She began her career raising millions to support the ground-breaking work of organizations protecting public health, the environment, and access to justice.
Anne holds a BA in philosophy from the College of William & Mary and a Master’s in sustainability leadership from the Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden.
She is a novice kickboxer, lover of the noble giraffe, and admits an addiction to collecting vintage cast iron cookware.
